The man accused of running over California Highway Patrol Officer Michael Ericson was found guilty of 5 charges on Monday.
A jury found Austin Scott was found guilty on charges of vehicle theft and assualt with a deadly weapon. The jury was deadlocked on a charge of attempted homicide, resulting in a mistrial.
Officer Ericson, 47, was hit during a traffic stop by Scott, who had allegedly stolen a Bay Cities Paving and Grading company truck.
