SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man is in custody after a deadly shooting on Sacramento’s La Riviera Drive Monday night.
The Sacramento Police Department says it responded to a reported shooting around 5 p.m. and found one man with a gunshot wound who was pronounced dead at the scene. A second shooting victim was found down the street and he was taken to the hospital.
Police say officers saw a suspect, identified as 25-year-old Austin Greer of Plumas Lake, leaving the scene and he was detained. He was later arrested and booked on suspicion of homicide.
The man killed in the shooting hasn’t been identified yet.
