SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man is now in custody after a deadly June shooting in south Sacramento.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as 23-year-old Denisho Collins. Investigators say he had a loaded firearm when he was arrested.
He was taken to the Sacramento County Main Jail and booked on suspicion of homicide.
The arrest comes after a deadly shooting on June 17 near I Parkway and Forest Parkway. Deputies got to the scene and found 31-year-old Sherman Gage dead from a gunshot wound.
Collins is in custody on $50,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on July 18.
