FAIRFIELD, Calif. — A man was arrested for terroristic threats after allegedly threatening to shoot students walking to school in Fairfield.

According to the Fairfield Police Department, four students told the Grange Middle School school resource officer that a man threatened to shoot them while they were walking to school Tuesday morning.

Officers found the suspect, 51-year-old Ronnie Grisham, driving in front of the school in the same vehicle and clothing described by students.

Grisham was arrested and booked on suspicion of four counts of terroristic threats and one count of resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

The police department says it has zero tolerance for threats, especially against children.

“We’re so glad these young people knew precisely what to do and who to trust in this situation and we value our partnership with the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District that made such a swift responsible possible,” wrote the Fairfield Police Department.
