YUBA COUNTY, Calif. — A man died in a solo vehicle crash on Hwy. 70 in Yuba County on Saturday morning.
The California Highway Patrol says a 44-year-old man was driving south in a BMW on the highway near Magnolia Road when his vehicle veered off the road and overturned into an orchard.
CHP said the driver was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said he was not wearing his seatbelt.
The crash was reported around 8:20 a.m.
