WATERFORD, Calif. — A man was hurt after crashing his car down a 50-foot embankment just east of Waterford, Stanislaus Consolidated Fire District crews said.
According to firefighters, the crash was reported around 5:30 a.m. Saturday. Crews were able to get the man out of his car and carry him up a trail to a helicopter ambulance.
The helicopter rook the man to a hospital in an unknown condition. The CHP is investigating the crash, fire crews said.
