Man injured after shooting in South Sacramento

Police say one man was transported to the hospital after he was found with at least one gunshot wound.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man is critically injured following a shooting at a South Sacramento neighborhood Wednesday, according to the Sacramento Police Department. 

Police said the shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 7500 block of Franklin Boulevard near East Parkway. 

When officers arrived,  police said they found one man with at least one gunshot wound. 

He was transported to an area hospital and is in critical condition. 

Police said there is no information regarding a suspect at this time.
