SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Saturday night.
According to a news release from the Sacramento Police Department, it happened around 9:40 p.m. Saturday.
Officers responded to the 2600 block of American Avenue for a shooting. Upon arrival they found a man with at least one gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
