SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man believed to be responsible for catalytic converter thefts at the Sacramento International Airport is now in custody.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, Ryan Kary was arrested Wednesday. The sheriff’s office says Kary is a suspect in recent catalytic converter thefts at the airport.
Deputies searched Kary’s home and found four stolen guns, more than $3,000 in cash, two catalytic converters and “other items” reported stolen.
The news release says detectives believe Kary is behind unreported thefts and they’re trying to connect victims with some of the items recovered from his home.
