NEVADA, USA — One person died and another was injured in a plane crash Tuesday at the Minden-Tahoe Airport in Nevada.
According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), two people were on board an "experimental amateur-built" twin-engine airplane that crashed shortly after takeoff at approximately 8:23 a.m. Their identities have not been released by local authorities.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the airport is currently closed as the crash is investigated.
Video obtained by an ABC affiliate in Reno shows a small, private plane downed in the airfield.
The NTSB has launched an investigation into the crash. More information will be provided when available.
