Minor arrested after man stabbed to death in Yuba City restaurant parking lot

YUBA CITY, Calif. — A minor is in custody after he allegedly stabbed a man to death in a Yuba City restaurant parking lot.

According to the Yuba City Police Department, it happened around 7:40 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Chili’s and In N Out at 1300 Annette Way.

Upon arrival officers found 21-year-old Andrew Porras of Plumas Lake with a stab wound to the right side of his chest. He was taken to Adventist Rideout where he died from his injuries.

Police say the suspect, an unidentified minor, was later found and arrested. The suspect and victim have no known association, according to police.
