PLACER COUNTY, Calif. — More than 100 people are out searching for a missing hiker last seen Friday afternoon.
According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, 70-year-old Warren Elliott was last seen on the Rubicon Trail Friday afternoon.
He was last wearing a blue denim short sleeve shirt and blue denim shorts.
The sheriff’s office says 100 searchers from nine different agencies and organizations are out on the trail today looking for him. The National Guard is also assisting with a Blackhawk helicopter.
