Missing person's death being investigated as homicide, Sacramento police say

The person was reported missing on March 24 and their body was found a week later.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The death of a missing person in Sacramento is now being investigated as a homicide.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded to Roseville Road and Tri Stations Road for a missing persons report on Friday, March 24.

Detectives say they received tips over the following days that the missing person may be dead.

Then, on Friday, March 31, the missing person’s body was found near Roseville Road and Connie Drive.

The person’s death is being investigated as a homicide based on information shared with detectives.

The Sacramento Police Department did not say what that information was, identify who the deceased was, or give their cause of death. Suspect information is not available either.
