SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A deadly crash in Modesto is under investigation Friday.
The Modesto Police Department said officers responded to reports of a crash around 2:45 a.m. at the intersection of Creekwood Drive and Edenton Way.
The driver, who hasn't been identified, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. They were the only person in the vehicle, according to Modesto police.
The initial investigation found the driver was heading southbound along Creekwood Drive, lost control and hit a concrete wall and a tree.
The crash is under investigation.
