Motorcyclist dies after being ejected from bike in Modesto accident

The crash was reported in the area of Yosemite Blvd and Kerr Avenue.

MODESTO, Calif. — A motorcyclist is dead after he collided with a car in Modesto Tuesday afternoon.

According to Modesto Police Department, the collision was reported just before 1 p.m. in the area of Yosemite Boulevard and Kerr Avenue.

Police said the Harley Davidson Dyna motorcycle was heading east on Yosemite Boulevard when it collided in the intersection with an Acura that was heading north on Kerr Avenue. 

The motorcyclist, only described as a man from Oakdale, was ejected from his bike, and despite efforts from first responders, he died at a hospital. 

Police don't suspect drugs or alcohol as factors in the collision.

Delays are expected in the area as police investigate and currently have Yosemite Boulevard closed between La Loma Avenue and Camellia Way.
