MODESTO, Calif. — Police are investigating a deadly crash in Modesto Thursday afternoon.
According to Modesto Police Department, the collision happened in the area of McHenry and Standiford avenues around 1:30 p.m.
Police found a Nissan 350Z that crashed with a parked utility van and stopped on the front lawn of an apartment complex. The driver, a man from Modesto, was taken to a hospital with major injuries, but he ultimately died.
It's not clear if drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash, but no other people were in the car when the crash happened.
