Deputies: 19-year-old with gun arrested after allegedly attacking man in Stanislaus County

An investigation found the man allegedly pointed a loaded, "unserialized polymer 80 ghost gun" at the victim before deputies intervened, according to officials.

MODESTO, Calif. — A 19-year-old man was arrested by Stanislaus County sheriff's deputies after allegedly assaulting another man alongside three others Saturday morning.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department says Keynu Bordeau and three other suspects were attacking a man with at least one gun present in the area of Dallas Street and Butte Avenue around 10:35 a.m. An investigation found Bordeau allegedly pointed a loaded, "unserialized polymer 80 ghost gun" at the victim before deputies intervened, according to officials. 

The victim only suffered minor injuries to his face and no shots were fired, according to officials. 

Bordeau was arrested on suspicion of: assault with a firearm, brandishing a firearm, being a previously convicted felon in possession of a gun, carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm in public, and assault and battery, according to officials.

No other information is available at this time and it is unclear if anyone else was arrested in connection to the incident.
