MODESTO, Calif. — A man hit by car in Modesto ultimately died from his injuries, police announced Tuesday.
The collision happened Dec. 15 around 5:30 p.m. Police said a 44-year-old man was hit by a car while crossing College Avenue, near Bowen Avenue.
The driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Police said the man was originally expected to survive, but learned this week that the man died.
