MODESTO, Calif. — A person is dead after a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning in Modesto.
At approximately 2:15 a.m., officers located a 35-year-old Modesto resident with major injuries at the Pelandale Avenue and Tully Road intersection, according to the Modesto Police Department.
Police said they were driving a silver 2008 Acura MDX when it collided with a traffic signal pole.
The person was taken to the hospital, where they were later pronounced dead, according to law enforcement. The department’s traffic safety unit has taken over the investigation.
