MODESTO, Calif. — A man was shot and killed in a Modesto parking lot on Friday.
The Modesto Police Department responded to reports of a shooting just after midnight on Sept. 6. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of a closed business in the 900 block of McHenry Avenue. He died at the scene and his identity hasn't been released.
It's unclear what led up to the shooting and there isn't any information on a possible shooter.
