MODESTO, Calif. — A plane crashed on Highway 99 in Modesto shortly before 8 o'clock on Friday night. The highway was closed to southbound traffic at Crow's Landing. Traffic was being detoured around the crash.
The plane was described as a small engine plane, and, according to officials with the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department, the pilot of the plane is survived with minimal injuries.
