MODESTO, Calif. — A "questionable device" was removed from the 100 block of McHenry Boulevard in Modesto Thursday morning.
According to the Modesto Fire Department, crews were called to a commercial structure fire just after 10:30 a.m. A spokesperson for the fire department said no fire was found, but crews did find a "questionable device" at the scene.
The device was ultimately removed by law enforcement. Police said no threats were made during the incident.
McHenry Avenue was temporarily closed but it has since reopened.
