CERES, Calif. — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run Saturday in Stanislaus County.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 3:50 a.m. along Morgan Road, south of Marchy Lane. Upon arrival, officers found a man lying in the road. He died at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol is searching for a vehicle. There's no information except that the vehicle may have damage on the right front fender or bumper.
The man's identity hasn't been released. The crash is under investigation. People with more information can call the Merced Communication Center at (209) 356-2900.
