SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving another vehicle in Sacramento Thursday morning, according to California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened near Fruitridge Road and Nona Way. CHP says the driver of a vehicle was traveling eastbound off Fruitridge Way, turned left and hit the motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the sedan stayed on scene and was cooperative, CHP says.
Alcohol or drugs are not a factor in the crash.
