CALIFORNIA, USA — A man was killed in a shooting near South Natomas, the Sacramento Police Department said Thursday.
Officers responded to reports of a person lying in the street Wednesday around 9:50 p.m. near Truxel Road and Waterwheel Drive. Upon arrival, officers found a 20-year-old man with at least one life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
The man's identity hasn't been released. It's unclear what led up to the shooting and it's under investigation.
