Nearly $2 million St. Augustine HGTV Dream Home is on the market

The home, not far from the Intracoastal Waterway in St. Augustine, was listed on Zillow July 11.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The HGTV Dream Home built on Anastasia Island will soon have a new owner.

First Coast News previously reported that a 25-year educator from New York won the HGTV Dream Home 2024 sweepstakes in May.

Just over two months after the home was awarded, it was put on the market.

The home, not far from the Intracoastal Waterway in St. Augustine, was listed on Zillow July 11.

The real estate agent working with the buyer confirmed to First Coast News that the home was listed for nearly $2 million and is currently pending sale.

The building of the three-bedroom, four-bathroom home prompted pushback from the St. Augustine Planning and Zoning Board after a bulkhead was built without county approval.

The contractor, Coastal Getaway Homes, never got the city's OK for a bulkhead around the house built on a creek in the Pelican Reef neighborhood.

It took two months for the City of St. Augustine to agree with the contractor in April, just weeks before the winner was announced.
