FOLSOM, Calif. — A new Marriott hotel is under construction at the Palladio shopping center in Folsom, and it will likely be completed in 2026.
Located on 1.5 acres that used to be the parking area next to Dave & Buster’s, the five-story 130-room AC Marriott hotel will be the only lodging option on Palladio grounds, according to Gloria Wright, the shopping center’s general manager. There are a few existing hotels near the shopping center.
“Folsom is such a great community with a need for out of town guests to stay not only for business but also for leisure to experience all this region has to offer including all of Palladio,” Wright said.
Amenities will include a fitness center, small meeting rooms and a breakfast and lounge area, she said. Insignia Hospitality Group is the hotel operator.
“The AC Marriott brand is a higher end Marriott brand in a boutique hotel size; very complimentary to Palladio,” Wright said.
Announced in 2022, officials said the project is slated to finish spring 2026.
