SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Midtown's Second Saturday programming runs from May to October, with events for adults and families to enjoy all day long.
Saturday, October 12, 2024, is the final one of the year.
Amanda Sawasy with the Midtown Association says each Second Saturday draws 10,000 to 15,000 people. It’s 100 blocks of experiences including block parties, performances, events at local parks, music, food and an art walk.
“The day will kick off at the Midtown Farmers Market at 20th and K with some expanded arts programming. The Sacramento Ballet will be at the farmers market tomorrow (Saturday) with performances starting at 10:30 [a.m.] to preview an upcoming show,” said Sawasy. “Our block parties are at 20th and K and 24th and K from 4-8 p.m. with big art markets, the World's Worst Expo has a vintage market, and they'll also have some performers as well.”
