SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Pickleball Kingdom, the world’s largest indoor pickleball facility based in Arizona, will look to expand to California and even the Sacramento area.
The franchise currently has locations in Arizona, Texas, Wisconsin, South Carolina, New Jersey, Tennessee, Colorado, Flordia, Idaho, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas and Washington.
Paraminder and Komal Saini, franchise owners, plan to develop areas like Roseville, Rocklin, Folsom, Elk Grove and Sacramento for California’s first locations. The Saini family also founded a handmade wooden sunglasses company called 'Woodey.'
"We're thrilled to bring indoor pickleball courts to Sacramento, including Roseville, Rocklin, Folsom, and Elk Grove," said Parminder Saini in a news release. "Our community is full of diverse, hardworking, active individuals who value health, fitness and social bonding.”
The Northern California pickleball facilities will have state-of-the-art indoor courts, professional coaching and clinics, youth development programs, leagues and tournaments, and community and corporate vents.
Pickleball Kingdom typically has 15 temperature-regulated indoor courts, a viewing area with lounging areas, a snack bar, a locker room and a pro shop.
"This facility will enrich the Sacramento area by creating an inclusive space where people can play, connect, and enjoy themselves," said Komal Saini in a news release. "We're excited to provide opportunities for families, friends, and neighbors to prioritize health, create lasting memories, and strengthen community bonds."
