TERMINOUS, Calif. — A pickup truck driver died Thursday after crashing into a big rig on Highway 12.
According to the California Highway Patrol, it happened just after noon near Guard Road in San Joaquin County.
CHP says the driver of a Ford pickup truck was going westbound when they went into an eastbound lane for an unknown reason and collided with a big rig.
The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
CHP says all westbound traffic is being turned around at Guard Road. The eastbound shoulder of the highway is open.
It’s unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
