YOLO COUNTY, Calif. — A plane landed in a Yolo County cornfield after a reported engine failure Wednesday morning.
The Federal Aviation Administration said the landing happened around 11:15 a.m. near the Watts - Woodland Airport in Yolo County.
Officials said the pilot was the only person on board and the landing came soon after the pilot reported an engine failure. The plane was described as a single-engine Cessna A185.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
