Part of I-5 in Yolo County reopens after shooting, chase

The Colusa County Sheriff's Office said there was a shooting in Colusa County that led to a chase.

YOLO COUNTY, Calif. — A portion of Interstate 5 near Dunnigan in Yolo County is open Friday morning after police activity closed lanes overnight.

The Colusa County Sheriff's Office said there was a shooting in Colusa County that led to a chase. The chase ended near Dunnigan in Yolo County. Few details are known about the shooting.

According to Caltrans, Interstate 5 was closed Thursday evening to early Friday morning to southbound traffic at County Road 6 near Dunnigan.
