Police investigating homicide in Stockton

According to the SPD, the incident took place around noon Monday, July 25, in the area of E. Hazelton and south Sutter Streets. Witnesses claim they saw a man fall from the bridge at Sutter and Hazelton. Officers located an adult male who was unresponsive. Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Even though the incident is being investigated as a homicide, there is no suspect search at the time. The preliminary investigation indicates the man may have been shot.
