Power outage in Calaveras County leaves thousands in dark

The San Andreas, Mountain Ranch and Mokelumne Hill areas are the most impacted at this time.

CALAVERAS COUNTY, Calif. — Thousands of PG&E customers are without power in Calaveras County Saturday, according to outage maps.

The San Andreas, Mountain Ranch and Mokelumne Hill areas are the most impacted at this time.

The outage started just before 4 p.m. Saturday and is expected to be restored by 1:45 a.m. Sunday, according to PG&E. There is no official word about what caused the outage, but the stormy conditions are hitting the Northern California region.
