After asking for the community's help, Nampa Police identified the suspect as Rivera, who goes by the stage name Hector David Jr. and is an actor known for playing the Green Power Ranger from 2011 to 2015.

Nampa police say they have not been able to find Rivera, and a warrant for his arrest is in the process of being issued.

Following the apparent battery, Rivera appears to have deleted his social media accounts.

He was scheduled to appear at Magic Valley Comic-Con this weekend. Rivera's picture was previously featured on the front page of the convention's website, but was removed on Tuesday, although his appearance is still listed on the event's schedule.

KTVB was contacted by the marketing director of Magic Valley Comic-Con Tuesday night.

"We are just finding out about this ourselves," Larissa Long told KTVB. "We are looking into it and will take appropriate action."

As of Wednesday morning, Magic Valley Comic-Con has confirmed that Rivera will not be attending the event.

KTVB also reached out to Rivera but we haven't heard back.

The investigation is ongoing.
