Man found dead in Putah Creek, police say

The Winters Police Department said there is no threat to public safety.

WINTERS, Calif. —

A man was found dead Saturday morning in Putah Creek, according to the Winters Police Department.

Officers responded to a call about a "deceased male located in Putah Creek" at 7:15 a.m. on Saturday. The man has since been identified. Police have not released the man's name, but his family has been notified.

There is no threat to public safety, according to the department.

On November 9th at 7:15 am, Officers responded to a call of a deceas... ed adult male located in Putah Creek. The deceased male has been identified and his family has been notified. We will not be releasing his name at this time. There are no concerns to public safety.

The investigation is still active. The Winters Police Department is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Sergeant Ramos at 530-795-4561.
