RIO LINDA, Calif. — Six people are without a home in Rio Linda after a fire on Friday morning.
Two cats and one dog were rescued, but one cat died in the fire, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District. One person was treated, but there were no major injuries reported.
The fire is under investigation.
