Police: THC extraction lab found in Rocklin after man's overdose death

Police said the lab was found at the scene of the overdose, but haven't said whether it was connected to the man's death.

ROCKLIN, Calif. — Police found a THC lab after responding to a reported overdose in Rocklin Sunday, authorities said.

Rocklin police and firefighters responded to the reported overdose along the 3800 block of Pine Street around 6:11 p.m. Despite efforts from first responders, the man, 34, ultimately died.

While on the scene, police said they saw items linked to a THC extraction lab and found a lab in the home.

Brandon Gale, 33 of Rocklin, was arrested on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance. 

It's not clear if the THC lab was connected to the man's death.
