ROSEVILLE, Calif. — The first Amazon Fresh grocery store in Northern California will officially debut in Roseville in August.
According to an Amazon spokesperson, the store is set to open Aug. 22.
Amazon Fresh in Roseville will have the company's latest brick-and-mortar design, which was displayed in areas like Chicago and Southern California last year.
In the store, customers will be able to find national brands, produce, proteins and private label brands like Aplenty, Fresh Brand and 365 by Whole Foods at the store. They'll also be able to find some grab and go options as well, like sandwiches, salads, wraps, snack boxes, take-and-bake pizzas, ready-to-heat burritos and ready-made meals.
One of the other things setting the new store apart from other grocery stores will be its ability to blend online grocery shopping and an "elevated in-store experience," meaning fast grocery delivery and pickup options and more convenient shopping through Dash Cart or Amazon One.
As far as savings go, Amazon Prime members will have access to Prime Savings, which offers 10% of many other grocery items.
The new store is located at 6780 Stanford Ranch Road. Hours will go from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Another Amazon Fresh is expected to open in Elk Grove, however, the site has not had an opening date announced.
