ROSEVILLE - Communities across the region continue to mourn the loss of two deputies tragically killed last month.
Friends, family and law enforcement agencies from across the state paid their respects today to Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputy Danny Oliver.
Sacramento County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Lisa Bowman told News10 that today is "overwhelming," as the outpouring of support and condolences began with flowers being delivered and the raising of the American flag for Deputy Oliver's funeral at Adventure Christian Church in Roseville.
The funeral for Placer County Sheriff's Detective Michael Davis will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning at Adventure Christian Church.
This day there will again be a lot of law enforcement vehicles and other traffic on Stanford Ranch Road to the church from 8 to 10 a.m. Vernon Street in downtown Roseville will also be affected from 8 to 9 a.m., city of Roseville officials said.
The procession following Deputy Davis' service will start around noon and will go north through Rocklin along Stanford Ranch Rd to Sunset Blvd., then along Pacific Street Taylor Road before being taken to Newcastle Cemetery in Newcastle.
