PLACER COUNTY, Calif. — One person was taken to the hospital after a possible chemical spill at a water treatment facility Monday afternoon in Placer County, authorities said.
The Roseville Fire Department hazmat team was requested and the Placer County Sheriff’s Office is on scene, according to the lead agency, Placer Hills Fire Protection District.
Crews are working to mitigate the incident, which is in the Weimar area, officials said.
