ROSEVILLE, Calif. — A new steakhouse is planning to open in Roseville by next year.
Fogo de Chão is planned for the Ridge at Creekside. It'll be the first location in the Sacramento area and is planned to open by 2025, according to the restaurant. It was founded in Brazil in 1979 and has since expanded across the world.
Using a traditional technique of churrasco, or cooking meat over an open flame, Fogo de Chão offers meats carved tableside by gaucho chefs, according to its website.
Besides meat, it offers a Market Table and Feijoada Bar, which includes seasonal soup and salads along with vegetables, charcuterie, and more.
"The increasing demand for unique and immersive dining experiences from our guests continues to prompt us to explore expanding into new cities and regions. We identified domestic and international areas with untapped potential that allow us to strategically open Fogo de Chão in markets where our concept will best resonate," according to Fogo de Chão CEO Barry McGowan.
