ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Roseville's Iron Rose FC will be playing its home opener this weekend.
The match is Saturday, May 18 at 7 p.m. at West Park Stadium. Iron Rose FC will be taking on FC Davis. The stadium is located at 2401 Panther Place.
General Manager Chris King said they've been working fast and furious to build team chemistry and figure out the best formations during training sessions.
"We are coming in with expectations to win some games, entertain the crowd and put some points on the board," King said about the season.
It's the inaugural season of Iron Rose FC and King said community response has been better than he imagined.
"The local players have been crucial in putting together what I think is going to be a very talented roster," King said.
King said they're approaching 1,000 tickets sold for Saturday's match.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for kids under 12. Groups of 12 or more people are $6 each. Find tickets HERE.
There's a pregame party from 4-6 p.m. before the game at DogHaus Roseville. There's a $25 DogHaus ticket available for purchase where people can get a Woman of Iron beer, a signature Doghaus Dog, access to the fan zone and general admission to the match.
