A revolving sushi bar is opening this weekend in Roseville near the Galleria.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is located at 250 Gibson Dr., suite 140 near Lazy Dog and La Popular. It has a soft opening Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11 with special hours from 12-9 p.m.

The grand opening is Sunday, May 12. The first 300 seated dine-in guests will receive a Roseville location sticker.

The first 30 seated dine-in guests May 12, 13 and 14 who show their Kura Sushi Rewards Member QR code will receive one Dragon Ball Super Bikkura Pon graphic t-shirt and one glow-in-the-dark Goku Acrylic Stand keychain with golden ball chain.

Diners pay by the plate. All sushi plates will be $3.60 each, but other plate prices will vary.

There's a revolving sushi bar allowing people to select dishes as they see them float by. There's also an express belt, also called a "sushi highway," for orders delivered to the table.

“We opened in the Sacramento market in 2019 and our popularity has grown more and more with each passing year. We received such positive feedback from our guests that we thought it was time to add another restaurant in the greater Sacramento area," Robert Kluger, Chief Development Officer for Kura Sushi USA said in a statement.

Kura Sushi offers several options for nigiri, sushi rolls, hand rolls and gunkan nigiri. Some of the side options include fried rice, gyoza dumplings, teriyaki chicken and more.

There are also udon, ramen side dishes and desserts available. Some of the desserts include various flavors of mochi ice cream such as black sesame, matcha and strawberry. Find the full menu HERE.

People can't make reservations but can join the waitlist remotely through the Kura Sushi app. The waitlist feature on the app will be activated after the grand opening week.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar will be open Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
