ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Construction on the Pleasant Grove Boulevard Widening Project is underway, according to the city of Roseville.
Pleasant Grove Boulevard will be widened from Woodcreek Oaks to a quarter-mile past the Foothills Boulevard intersection. Once completed, there will be three lanes in each direction.
Some overnight work will be scheduled periodically to minimize traffic backups during the day. There are digital message boards in the area informing drivers of the latest construction schedule, which is subject to change depending on weather, equipment and other factors.
The speed limit is reduced along part of Pleasant Grove Boulevard while construction for the project is underway.
Trees and vegetation were previously removed for construction and new trees will be planted when the project gets close to completion.
The project construction is expected to last from early 2024 through summer 2025, according to the city.
