ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Work on the Pleasant Grove Boulevard Widening project is expected to start at the end of February, according to the city of Roseville.
Pleasant Grove Boulevard will be widened from Woodcreek Oaks to a quarter-mile past the Foothills Boulevard intersection. Once completed, there will be three lanes in each direction.
Crews are expected to be performing work over the next couple of weeks to prepare for construction. Pleasant Grove Boulevard will be reduced to one lane heading eastbound from 5:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and one westbound lane from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is meant to alleviate traffic during the peak of afternoon travel.
After this initial work, there may be a pause, depending on the weather, before construction starts.
Trees and vegetation will be selectively removed for construction and new trees will be planted when the project gets close to completion.
The project construction is expected to last from early 2024 through summer 2025, according to the city.
