ROSEVILLE, Calif. — For the weekend before Thanksgiving, the Roseville Police Department took 35 reports of broken car windows and rummaging through center consoles, according to authorities.
The Roseville police are asking anyone who lives in the area of Silverhorn Court, Jordan Drive, Kit Carson Way, Alder Park Circle, or Rosebridge Drive, to check their home video surveillance footage to help identify a possible suspect for the recent break-ins.
Police said in a majority of these incidents, the vehicles were locked, and no valuables were in plain sight. Police believe the primary target for this rash of vehicle break-ins was likely small electronics and money concealed in the center console.
Police say most victims reported a possible break-in between the hours of midnight to 5 a.m.
Roseville Police also want to remind people that, when possible, they should park their car in the garage, keep an exterior light on so potential thieves can are visible by people and cameras and always keep an eye out in your neighborhood.
If you have any information regarding these incidents, contact the investigations unit at 916-746-1059.
