A spokesperson for Starbucks told ABC10 it's relocating one of its stores in Roseville and opening a drive-thru Starbucks closer to the freeway.
The Starbucks store at 415 Roseville Square in Roseville will be closing and replaced by a new store at Douglas Boulevard and S Harding Boulevard. The new location was formerly a Burger King but hadn't been open in about two years.
Construction is underway at the new location, though Starbucks hasn't released a timeline for opening.
"Choosing a site for a new Starbucks location is a key element in providing customers with the Starbucks Experience and we carefully consider many factors when opening a new store," a spokesperson wrote in an email to ABC10.
The new location will be about 3,000 square feet and it's located right next to Interstate 80. A spokesperson said all Starbucks partners working at the location set to close will transfer to the new store.
The closest Starbucks to the new location is down the street at 1925 Douglas Boulevard and 2030 Douglas Boulevard. Find Starbucks locations HERE.
