ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Roseville's 62nd annual Sylvia Besana Holiday Parade is happening on Saturday.
It was originally scheduled for Nov. 18, but due to rain it was rescheduled to Dec. 16. The vendor booths open in the Vernon Street Town Square at 9 a.m. The parade is set to start at 10 a.m.
New this year is a ukelele band in the parade, and since it's being held closer to the holidays, organizers say everyone is feeling the holiday spirit.
The parade route starts at the corner of Vernon Street, Douglas Boulevard and Riverside Boulevard. It will include dance teams, horses, floats and more. Besides the parade, there will be craft booths, Santa and food
"We have an expanded Vendor Square this year with everything from handmade crafts to local businesses to hot popcorn. It’s a great reason to hang around Downtown Roseville after the parade ends," according to event organizers.
