A Sacramento man was found with fatal stab wounds Thursday evening.
Around 6:30 p.m., Sacramento police officers were called to an apartment building along 10th Street near J Street and found a man in his 50s with multiple wounds.
Despite lifesaving efforts, the man died from his injuries.
After an investigation, homicide detectives named 41-year-old Gordon James as a suspect in the stabbing.
Friday morning, police tweeted that their investigators, with the assistance of other local law enforcement officers, took James into custody in the area of Watt Avenue and Interstate 80 in Sacramento.
The identity of the victim hasn't been released.
The motive for the attack wasn't clear yet.
